Sweepback - the leading edge slopes backwards (example: Bombardier CRJ), helps correct yaw and raise dropping wing

Centripetal Force - horizontal force that counteracts centrifugal force

Centrifugal Force - pulls the airplane to the outside of the turn

Angle of attack - angle at which the airfoil meets the relative airflow

Centre of Pressure - where the total sum of aerodynamic pressure acts
- up to the point of stall it moves forward
- beyond the stall it moves rearward

Wing Fences - on upper wing, used to control airflow

Spoilers - increase drag and decrease lift

Stall Strips - cause the wing root to stall first

Vortex Generators - prevent the breakaway of the boundary layer

Winglets - reduce vortices's and generate enough lift to offset the drag produced.
